What We Do

BootSpace has created a patent-pending direct marketing solution that dynamically pushes corporate graphic advertisements into the boot-up sequence. BootSpace allows companies to better reach, register and retain their customers by transforming the idle time users spend looking at the stale, Microsoft Windows logo while waiting for their computer to boot-up, into valuable time spent reading targeted, relevant advertising content. By putting branded organizations in control of the most desirable advertising real estate on the computer, the boot-ups and desktops of their customers, BootSpace provides the single most effective methodology for driving sales online, building brands and enabling more robust relationships with consumers and businesses. We encourage you to read more about our product, take a tour, and compare us to the alternatives.

Background

BootSpace was formed in the summer of 1999 by two University of California, Berkeley graduates, each of whom has built successful careers predicated on understanding the Internet and how e-commerce works. Armed with this experience, and a keen awareness of the increasing tendency among surfers to ignore current e-advertising mediums such as banner ads and targeted e-mails, the team set out on a mission to develop an innovative yet simple technology that would instantly improve the Internet experience for consumers and marketers.

The first step was to develop a business model that worked and to line up financial backers. On a parallel track, the founders began creating the backbone of the BootSpace solution, developing the software, and forming tight strategic relationships with top tier industry leaders, all of whom are extremely excited about BootSpace's ability to allow consumers and merchants to interact closely and comfortably.
